16 Classic Stereo Options?

I am looking for stereo options for a 16 Classic. The interior configuration is a helm bucket and a "L" shaped bench that encompasses part of the dash.

Hi I have a 91 16, my stereo is on the right side under dash right by my leg. That panel has plenty of room behiind it.

here is what I did, installed a JVC with remote under drivers side on the small panel, poly planar speakers under L shaped seat at the rear, dug out some foam in the bow and installed enclosed poly planars and foamed it in place, Sony equalized Amp in battery compartement, and Rock 'N Roll, have yet to find a spot for a sub though!! hope this helps and it does sound good eek.gif eek.gif

Phil, Is this mounted in the dash, or underneath?

Marcdups, What size speakers did you use? What size hole had to be cut under the "L" seat?

The speakers are model # MA905 white and can handle up to 200 watts, hole cut out are relitavely small compared to a pair of 6 by 9's, approx 4.5 inches and yes the stereo is under the dash with a poly planar waterproof dash mount, wish I could send ya some pics, but!!no can do without a camera nor scanner
