I need some assistance.
The heater in the old reliable 1992 Ford F150 is not working.
The blower just blows cold air. I had all the hoses replaced a month ago. Anyone have this problem before? It has a 302 with automatic trans and A/C.

your cable on the hot/cold regulator is broken or has come off or the core is plugged. I assume the thermostat is opening?

I popped off the glove compartment. The cable is moving the arm when I move the switch.
It worked until I had the waterpump and all the old hoses replaced.

If you didn't replace the thermostate I would replace it now. If you still don't have heat feel the hoses at the core and see what you have there. If still no heat the core is plugged. Replace it.

Scott, As ridiculous as it sounds, check if your T-Stat is clogged or operating, frequently when parts are replaced, stuff from alien planets get dislodged and no heat, I have had two Fix Or Repair Dailys and I love'em, but I like Trucks period, running a '93 Lightning now zero problems, has a "Step" T-Stat, which will fluctuate on Thermal Readings, but I can Cook an egg in there!... biggrin.gif ...Doc
