Ok...here are some more pictures. The first 2 are of the taping of the flames. I did all this by hand.

The next 3 pictures are the flames basecoated. Both these colors are just the base for the candy.

Scott,Looks damn impressive!I"ve always had admiration for custom painters work.Dave Periwitz the custom bike painter lives a couple streets over from me.It always amazes me yr. after yr. how they come up with new stuff. The problem is, "Once it is done. You have to protect it with your life".

Stay tuned....I will be posting the finished pictures later today. I will also post pictures of the undercarrage, cockpit and Motor.

Heading off to clear it right now.......

I met Dave Periwitz in Rockland County NY some years back at the North East Trade Show. He had some bikes there and so did I. I was one of the first painters that took Harlequin to the extreme
on a bike. He was pretty impressed.

His stuff was nice too wink wink

Scott,

I am impressed! Very Nice Work! Being able to see and follow the sequence is cool. . . . so when might you do a boat, not in flames but make it look like it is poking out of a huge wave?
