I have a Morse single lever shifter and a foot pedal for the throttle. Does anyone know of a way to wire up a neutral only safety switch? Right now I can start the boat in gear and we all know that is not the safest setup.

Ya know with all the constructive help I get from this site, the town and state, north of Cuba I live in, it's a wonder I even keep working on it.

Dave Morse did have a kit for outboards for thier controlls, it was a micro switch mounted right at the controll head. I would think you should be able to find it on thier site. Or poke around some old boat yards most boats get trashed with the controlls left behind.

YEA YA DID
and WHEN I get anything other than this picture for a complete weekend I might get the final color coats on the transom. I did get the primer on yesterday and spot filler this morning before all hell broke loose. Hope the spot filler dried enough.
