Serpentine Belt

Well i am having a slight issue which i need to resolve, quickly... i keep spinning the belt off of the pulleys and i am up to the top of the adjustment on the idler... she must be stretched. I have the steel P/S pulley so nothing is cracked or broken and everything in in line... frustrating is what it is, especially with all of tht room i have in front of the motor :rolleyes:

Problem is trying to find one locally before 6 am tomorrow morning! merc P/N is 57-861758, does anyone know off hand how long it is? it is a 6 rib i believe, i didn't pay a whole lot of attention to it last night... if i could get my hands on this info i reckon the local parts store could hook me up! :)

Jamie, Merc-Net shows it to be 86.5 (86 1/2) inches total
inside diameter.

took that info and the P/N called NAPA... they crossed the mercury number into their system.. the length is 87 inches outside.. have one on the shelf, 23 bucks.. mercury dealer wanted 70...
