Not quite sure how to read your post

I have a friend going to Fla tomorrow, he transports boats as a side hobby. He has an F350 and I will speak for him as a reference.
If you are serious and need a tow from Fla to MD at a reasonable price email me, I will speak to him and give you his number.

fasttrucker, not to step on your toes but I think you need to back up two yards, call a huddle and evaluate!
There are GREAT deals to be had out there, they come normally after a half dozen offers and counters, time, dealing with owners and not sales staff.
What exactly do you seek? A 26ZX? 2001's should be mid 50's NEW. What is the amount you can spend?
I saved about $ 25K with patients and two months of my time.
Email me if you want to talk etc. I think I have a grasp on 26ZX pricing and options, leftover or new.
Good luck.

boat is on west coast of fl. near sarasota i found it,has a 502 mag 415hp. the donzi at the dealer in md is only a 454/300/???well i think this used boat may be the boat for me?have the bank approval,so maybe i should jump on it.ill go down and get it, :p :p :p but my blazer only can pull #5000. so i have a bunch of options, hire someone, go out get a bigger truck or put the boat inside my semi.well thanks everyone for somegood advice will be back on line friday.

FT,
Congrats I believe! If you have a semi truck, what do you need a boat transporter for? Just put a trailer hitch on the back of the semi. That thing will tow more Donzi than you'll ever need. You won't be the first person to do it. Jake Jacobs tows his 16' Classic behind one. Looks very cool when you see it. I thought he brought a dragster to AOTH last year until I asked him what was in the enclosed trailer behind his semi and he told me a 16' Donzi. Saw him again in Sarasota only this time he had just the boat trailer behind the truck. :)

Bryan sorry you feel that way, Barry.

Anyway fasttrucker, sounds like you are headed in the right direction. My only advice continue to be patient. I do not know how it is at other Donzi dealers around the country, but whenever we have left over models there are definately some deals to be had. Many dealerships will write down or take into account depreciation once the model becomes a year old or what we do is write down all existing inventory on Jan. 1 of each year. Just my two cents but that 26ZX runs good with the 454 in it. I know people on this board do not agree, but mid 60's is pretty impressive for that boat with that weight. Again, best of luck, and please do not hesitate to call with any questions yoou might have.(800-557-1350)

Barry, I love the 26ZX and I have the 502/415 I will disagree the 454/385 top can only see 60 mph, I top out at 65.2 mph and that is to the wall trim and dialed in, They are a great riding boat and yes can still take out any Outlaw, Sonic with the same power. The 454/310 wont see 58 I drove one.

Frank,

I am sorry I mispoke/typed, I meant the 454 mag not the 454. I agree with you completely on the speed.

I have a New left over 2000 26ZX with a 502MPI with the Z-Care Warranty for the low price of $57,900. I also have a boat transporter leaving here later this week to bring a 27 Fountain up to NY and there is enough room on the trailer for another boat.
