Paint Removal

Hey Everyone, I just bought a set of used K-Planes and they are in need of a little TLC. What can I use or do to get the original paint off? I tried sandblasting but it only took the loose paint off. I tried paint stripper and it worked, but it was slooooow. Any help would be appreciated. :( Thanks, Jim

You could try and take them to a palce with dip tanks.

tried aircraft remover? potent.. wear gloves and a respirator... get a steel scraper and coffee can and a hose to wash it off with...

What may just do the trick is Mercury carbon buster, I am pretty sure its the same as OMC engine tuner. That stuff took off anything you could throw at it.
