Sound's like a fair deal. Have the engine and drive checked. Check drive oil for water (milky color)and or metal shavings. GEOO

http://206.150.187.82/ubb/biggrin.gif Sounds like a good deal to me. I have a 1972 18 2+3 and I would say if the hull is in good condition (no stringer rot, and good gel-coat finish) and the engine /drive are working properly, this is probably worth 7k or more. I got mine for with trailer for $2,400 however, the old HM302 was not in working order (now replaced with EFI 5.7GM). Mine was a steel - the 4,500 for a working boat is very reasonable in my book.
