I am still learning about DONZI's, so can anyone tell me what is the difference between a "Classic" 18 and am "X" 18, or are they just different ways to refer to the same boat.

The X-18 is the same hull as the Classic, but the deckline has a flare forward of the cockpit and also aft of the engine hatch. Also, I think that the buckets in the -18 sat up a bit higher.

They are, in my mind, very sharp looking, and also quite a bit rarer than the Classic. I've got production numbers for the X-18 and the even rarer Corsicans, but I'd have to hunt them up.

There are some good shots of a sharp blue X-18 at the Universal Studios ("Donzi - Official Boat of...")site.

The "X" in X-18 is for eXtra Comfort, eXtra Cool,eXtra Special, eXtra FAST. I think the "X" is worth 10 eXtra mph. GEOOX

Thanks Scot,
I didn't need to be reminded!!! http://206.150.187.82/ubb/frown.gif I started to work on the new gauges & wiring harness tonight. 100 mph speedo, 8000 rpm tach. That should make the boat go fast. Or at least it will have more dock appeal. GEOOOOOOOO

Hey Geo. The only problem with the 100mph speedo? Now the task to get There? There's something about pinning a Speedo!!
