Can any one comfrim for me if this is the type of rail used on current model classics? It looks like the one on the left should work mounted upside down from the picture.
Any help is appreciated
James

Clayman, The one on the left noted "universal" is the exact one I bought for my 18 per Donzi. Yes, the picture shows it upside down. The one on the right is interesting as it swivels, but it would again place the seats too high. Here's a pic of the frame installed on my 18.

Thanks for taking the time to take that pic for me. I am going to orders those tonight. Did you have to drill new mount holes, ?
Thanks again,
James

The name of the company is Springfield
they are a fairly common supplier of seat
hardware. Im sorry I don't have the number
handy. They are located in Mass I think.
Check the web or call Tony at Donzi, He well
give you the number. I had to call them for
a plastic shock absorber to keep the seat
from rocking . My set up is the same as the
pic Ranman posted. They are nice people
and sent me a pair free.

Clayman, I did NOT have to drill any new holes. All 8 hole locations were spot on for both the floor mounts and the seat mounts. You do need to use a tad of loc-tite on these as the screws and bolts tend to work themselves loose and fall out easily. Good luck with the project.
