I am missing one somewhere here but I will find it. It is a pic of the F-14 and Baby 14 running together. I find that a lot of the files won't open in PKZIP, image viewer etc, jpgs, gifs,..then I copy the link and paste it into MGI Photosuite III and open it under ANY and all formats and most of the time they open. Then they don't, then they do. Nice thing about that is I can zoom and read almost anything written. Pearson and Allard,...I will find the other pic. The info on the St. Tropez is amazing. I didn't realize that it was the 19' Hornets' hull. Donzi 28 to follow soon. (not tonight)

:D Very Cool Lenny....Thanks for sharing this ...I can't believe the prices for these guys, of course we are talking 1967 Dollars, so I guess if you put it in perspective...they were spendy then too! Gee I wonder if Richard & Cindy Weavers will actually do 40 mph eek! , what do you think Pearson?... ...Doc

--------I second the "very cool",Lenny. This stuff is gold with a capital G.
--------I never knew that the 14 Baby was originally going to have a windshield, and a good looking one at that!
--------In both the pieces of artwork there seems to be a little artists license going on but who cares, its still COOL.How cool would it be to reproduce those two pieces in a high quality way for framing.I would be the first customer,or undertake the project if you had any interest.Great way for the Harbormaster to take in a couple of bucks, maybe? Are there any other pieces like this?Imagine all the 67 models reproduced in a similar way.Whoa!........ol red!.......Bill S

ol'red...Those pics are from the 1967 Donzi catologue for the year. Everything they offered that year is depicted in this manner. St Tropez, Hornet,Baby, 28, fish, 7 metre, 18, 16 etc etc. I was given the pics from cover to cover for these. Front page to back.

No need to make them, they already exist...The Hornet is the "coolest" pic to look at. Yes, they would make GREAT shirt prints.

If you like to print T-shirts or frames, I can do real high resolution scans so the print result will be good.

That is a good idea on the shirts. Thomas had sent the photos to me originally and I was in the process of building a page to display all of them. Oh well so much for that...

Lenny, at the risk of sounding biased, are there any artist renderings of the Hornet? DOes anyone have an idea of what artist did these renderings for Donzi? I have read in Classic Boating a few articles of the stylists and artists who did work for Century, Chris Craft and the like. If I am not mistaken, one was located in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Not sure if this can be done, but can this be saved as a PDF file. I realize its pretty easy to get it to a pdf format from the scanner but wasn't sure if Post's can have pdf attachemnts.
My buddy has a baby donzi and I would love to print this out for him. If someone does put a shirt together I would buy a few.

Thanks Jim

Right click on it, save picture to your desktop, then go into ANY photo software you might have and open it from the desktop and modify/resize/alter it any way you like and then resave it as another name. Then make sure it prints the way you like. If not, go back and modify the modified.

noticed on the 1967 price list engine options for 325hp Turbo Daytona and 425hp Turbo Daytona---does anybody have any information on these motors.

was Daytona the manufacturer? was the 325 a small block turbo?
