I apologize for kidding around. This boat actually is in the Carribean. I was kidding around about it being for sale. The folks are wanting to restore it.

Hull number is FLZ1641510668

Engine: HOLMAN AND MOODY# B8HM-2222-1-RW-1/0

OK. POP Quiz. Who can give specs using these numbers?

Do Hornets have a different deadrise than the rest
of Donzi's common numbers?(22-24). In looking at Hornet/GT pic's in the registry it looks to me that they have somewheres in the neighbourhood of 20 degrees or so. Is this the case or is it an optical illusion on my part?

I apologize for kidding around. This boat is not for sale.
I especially aplogize to Scott Pearson, Richard Weaver, and Dr. Lou Benz.

These guys were ready to jump on the next plane down here. No more jokes like this. I have learned my lesson.

Scott, Lou, Richard, you guys are Hardcore.
We need more Donzi Enthusiasts like you.

Scot, I guess I better cancel my reservations and put the cover back on that other spare H&M motor.
This is good, now the wife can take the "D" papers back to the lawyer

The lifting rings on the boat that Scot posted are orig.

In fact the boat Ultimate that you posted pictures of has the same lifting rings with DONZI MARINE casted in them. Also the first ones where not all green. Some where a off yellow. Vents alot different on the early ones. They had a raised piece that the vent sat on which was a flat vent. The later ones had vents like a 2+3 without the raised piece.

Just some facts.

Hey Scott; no apologies are necessary after all to us you are more valuable than the boat. Since we can't buy it, please post more pictures. I know of one other bench seat Hornet with a big block but it is (dare I say those three little words that I most fear): not for sale!

eek! I can't believe I'm resurrecting a thread that's almost a year and a half old eek!
This Benchseat Hornet was my "alternate Donzi" for 3 years ! !
I discovered the reference in the 'What year' thread by DON N and almost fell out of my chair.
This boat is actually in Bermuda (Not the Carribbean) and yours truely is responsible for it being here.I would'nt otherwise bring this up if it was'nt for the significance that this model seems to have..
Sounds like another one of MC's stories coming :D
