Anyone have a guess what a EZ Load steel dual axle boat trailer would weigh with surge brakes for a 22'Donzi Classic? I have to register my trailer and its so damn cold up here (-2 degress) I don't want to go outside and weigh it. Remember , not gross weight (6000 lbs) but net weight. Thanks

My tandem axle trailer for my 22 weighs in very close to 1000 lbs.

My 25' aluminum is ~600 lb. My 18' steel flatbed is ~1800lb. The 1000lb estimate sounds pretty reasonable to me.

I don't know about NY, but in OH, because of my birthdate being in Sept. depending on planned gathering attendance, I sometimes wait until spring to register my trailer plates. Our cost is pro-rated and it saves me half on the yearly cost. After all, with snow on the ground, I'm not using the boat or trailering it on the roadways. Just a way to save a little to put into more important items like speed! :D

Wow finally a deal in Canada!!! $75.00 buys you your trailer plate and it is good as long as you own the trailer..Ed
