Friend of mine put a $100,000.00 bid in on it. He will know Friday. They went and looked at the boat. Its in South Jersey. Story goes that once it caught fire off shore they thought they had it out. Brought it back into the dock and started again. Firefighters filled it with water from hoses until it sunk. Also they guy who owned the boat has ordered another one but bigger. They dont make the 72 anymore. Now a 73. Must be nice.

Scott...

The real question is, are you going to tow it to the Lake Winni Poker Run or AOTH II?

Woodsy

PS: I like how you worded it... " a friend of mine".... hmmmm... I'll bet Kathy doesn't know about this yet....

Just kidding!!

I wish your friend good luck, looks like a real project 100k then 200k into repairs 300k tops that's 400k that boats worth half a mil easy!
fire damage is tough, still willing to lend a hand,
glad to hear they didn't just bash a big hole in the side to sink it!

That bassboat will be my Dingy for this one. Any whooo...the boat was 4.8 million brand new. I would say its worth 500k fixed. The engines are worth about 100k each if they are anygood. The gen's only showed about 1,400 hours on them. So the engines dont have much.
