VOlvo SX drives

Hey does anyone know the gear ratio on these drives that will work on Donzi classics? Wondering about one I have come across that is 1.78. Didn't know if this was the lowest ratio available now by Volvo or if they still make one around 1.62 anymore.

I think the SX is available in something around a 1.5:1. You'll need a lot of pitch on your prop for a 1.78:1 ratio and a small-block V-8.

I am pretty sure the OEM's work with Volvo to match the drive to boat weight, if you can find one from a light boat it more than likely will be a 1.5 or lower. The ratios: 1.43, 1.51,1.60, 1.66, 1.78,1.85,1.95 and 22:23. The 22:23 really throws me, must be a high speed ap.

Ok OK me dummy read further the 22:23 is the upper they do the ratio changes in the lower.
