Looking at another Minx tomorrow and looking for last minute info? Any particular areas I should pay attention to? Saw one today which looked mint to me and figured I would ask the experts. I will of course get survey. That brings up, anybody do surveys in tri-state area? Thanks Brian Oh yeah How many color combos??

Two of the best I know and have done alot of work with are Ken Weinbrect and Steve Maddock. They and others can be found on the following sites.

P.S. I am a firm believer in oil samples engine and drive, you do need a few hours on the oil to get a decent analysis, as or more important than hours.

I was suppose to get there today but I think it will be tomorrow. I have looked at a blue one on LI and there is a yellow and white in CT that I have been told is the one to get? Any others that you passed on that are worth while?? There is also a 20 Cig but with a 350 in mint shape for $11,500 in CT. Any insight would be appreciated. This is last shot as the stable is getting full already with cars and bikes.

Without mentioning the obvious (motor / drive / interior) check out for cracks in the gelcoat... at the corners inside, just below the windscreen. Also inspect the fuel tank/sending unit , under the beer (floor)cooler. The Minx also have a habit of getting corrosion under the dash/instrument area. But so do most other Donzi's too! Dah will probably need a few "extra" screws to flatten out the guananteed warp. The VDO guages are hard to find in Miami... dunno 'bout up Yankee way...
