This weekend was 16th wedding anniv. and we had planned to go the the Jersey shore, but in light of what has happened, my kids are alittle on edge, so we stayed close to home.
Took a boat ride Sat pm. figured I'd cruise around the shore line with my 2x3 old glory
waving from my rear light and show the colors. has I headed up the west shore I passed a velocity with 2 guys just idling but they had a Huge flag we hooked up took a lap around the lake I took his wing when I looked to my left and a master craft had taken his other wing with another flag we did a lap around the lake at 45 + the guy holding the flag was really struggling staying in the boat, but I gotta tell you what a sight. Old Glory waving in the wind with the sunlight shinnig on her. there where more boats carrying flags then I had ever seen.I told my wife the tears were from the strong headwind A 45+ but she knew!!!!
