Am I seeing things or is the prop shaft wound like a screw. Looks like it took a heck of a hit.

I made4 a low bid, and I emailed him a question about the splines, looks twisted to me.

Looks twisted to me too. The bearings are stock items, but that shaft can't be cheap. No hydraulics either. Makes me want to go swimming for mine.

Make sure it comes with the steering and trim rams. They cost Over $ 1,500.00 for a new set!!!

Hum ....That fin is smaller then mine, but more angle.... :rolleyes:

Is this one of the older ones that is chain driven with only a right hand rotation? If so, you may want to think about it....

Chain Drive = LH rotation
Gear Drive = RH rotation

No Arneson's are shiftable. All use internally mounted Borg Warner style transmissions...or paddles.

The guy still hasn't answered my question about the shaft, or if it comes with rams or not.

THe guy finally emailed me back, and said the shaft is not twisted at all and is good working order , just needs cleaning, no rams though.
