How does a cupped prop affect performance?
I've been told several different things and just looking for some clarification.
Will a cupped prop provide more lift to the stern of the boat therefore giving you more hull in the water and keeping the bow down?
If you have a cupped prop and a stright edge or chop prop of the same diameter and pitch, will the cupped prop drive the rpm down the same way going to a higher pitch would?

I am running a 23P Mirage on a 18 Classic with a 350 Mag. We are running 70+. This prop has a lot of cup and as I understand the cup allows you to run more trim with out the prop slipping. When we are wide open at 5200 RPM the whole boat is out of the water and it is running just on the drive. More cup will affect RPM but I think only slightly. As far as I can see the more cup the better.
