Since you now have "WORLDWIDE FAME" as the fastest 18' DONZI,(X or otherwise) you have an Arneson ASD-6 in tow, ride plates, surfacing prop, 600 HP and rock solid 90 GPS performance with a clean non-human-destructive hull to carry it all in,...
...do you now find that with the arrival of the "new baby" that you now rent "CARE BEARS " videos, buy TELETUBBIES P.J's, emphasize "gentle hands and gentle feet"
and try to get EXTRA mileage out of a DIAPER?
Just checking in on my own humanity and comparing it...(I'm there too)
No need to answer :)

Oh, and now the "question". In your boats configuration or say a "stock X one" you make many comments about moving the weight aft...for many reasons...If possible, would you think that the boat would be driveable from,...say... the back seat? OR, is this TOO much weight aft? Curious? Gas tank still up front or move it aft as well? Would this work in a sterndrive (non-Arneson) application. I figure you would be the guy that would know best.
Hope all is well with the new addition! :)
Len, I haven't moved anything back in my boat. The tank, battery etc. are all in the stock locations. Moving the weight back will move the CG back and create more bow lift; Great for going fast but may cause the boat to porpose at slower speeds.
If you need to use excessive trim to make your boat go faster at WOT; then you should benefit from creating bow lift by moving the CG instead of creating drag and wasting energy by over trimming.
I think it would have been great if Donzi made an 18 like the single bench seat 14' or Hornet.
My daughter wears cool clothing and has exciting toys. Her favorite TV show is Speedvision. I think she likes watching all the colorfull object flying across the screen. She enjoys Motorcycle Racing the most, (BigGriz can you imagine that) GEOO

Hey MILLER! Are you following this!!!? After talking to alot of the folks at AOTH, everyone was in general agreement that the Hornet Bench was one of prettiest boats ever made. Now a Hornet III bench seat single with a Bravo III, and a Big Block......Now that would be something to write home about and I'd CAMP in front of the factory to get Number 1.
Len,
Here's my daughter and her new blanket!!!
