I've run a 22ZX with Gaffrig Guages. I've had problems with the speedometer since I bought the thing new last year. Sometimes it works sometimes it does not. It is always an all or nothing thing, never a bouncy needle or a speed that was way off.

I've traced the tube looking for kinks and can't see any. Anyone have any suggestions? I don't have easy access to an air compressor to dry test it...

Thanks guys

Scub, Griz maybe right on, ALSO, mine has a double male just forward of the drive in the engine compartment, I had the SAME problem, I finally found this double male fitting, clipped the tube, made new connection and put a piece of duct tape over it, it has not failed since.

My speedo developed a clog in the small orifice of the fitting that goes into the gauge itself. If the hose is clear from the gauge back, check out that fitting. A needle should clear it out.
