OK, Here's the secret. I am not an artist by any streatch of the imagination. I have a hard time drawing a straight line with a ruler. These pumpkins were done with a kit from PumpkinMasters. www.pumpkinmasters.com. (http://www.pumpkinmasters.com.) The $5 kit containes face patterns and tools to do the job. The tools include a "poker", drill and two very small and flexible saws. Basically, you tape a piece of paper that has the face pattern to the pumpkin. Thank you take the "poker" and poke out the pattern into the pumpkin. Now you take the little saws and carefully saw from poke hole to poke hole. When that's done, I take a pearing knife and clean it up a bit. This PumpkinMasters kit is the way to go for the artistically challenged. The "mean" face is considered an advanced project and took me about 2.5 hrs to clean out, poke and carve. It's a bit time consuming but the results are totally worth it.

You guys try tohard. We just got a drill and a really big drill bit and the nose and eyes were done, since i did that, someone else did the cutting of the top and mouth and getting the seeds out :D
