Things I learned:

If you told me small block 22 I would think you are nuts...I am convinced

We really should stop calling it the Genth Era

Great stories about board members.... wink

"Nice Car"
" it used to be Dan Marino's"

Having a Jody ( fishboy) and a Jodi ( Miss Budmann) makes for interesting conversations

6 people in a 22 with a 3 foot chop = wet crew

Whats the "s" word??? Sushi!! For dinner, for lunch, for dinner, for Breakfast...we know the whole staff by name eek!

Buddy's Babysitter.... eek!

Digger your quote " this does not suck" lives on

Jody a clear problem with the engine is that fuel goes into the fuel filter but not out...

Oh and the Paddlewheel prop probably doesn't help a lot with the jack plate up

Back to work in the AM....

Well Guys,

At least you had some beautiful weather. I spent a couple of hours helping Mark Albers with his boat then we both took our boats to the water. Around two in the afternoon, heading back to the docks we ran through 3 to 4's in Sarasota Bay. The wind was blowing out the north and made a mess of the south end of the bay. Oh well, another great day of boating in Florida!

Chris, thanks for posting a couple of my finer moments this weekend. Know what they say, pay back is a .... Unfortunately, after riding in your 18, I am not sure I will ever get a picture of your Donzi broken down, so I guess I will have to be creative with my revenge.

As for what went wrong, I had a problem with my fuel something. Either bad gas, bad filter, bad flux capacitor...she ran long enough for me to get away from the dock over by the oyster beds and then died.

Fortunately Budmann was on the spot with a tow; chris ran 27 miles back down the ramp to get my tralier; we all piled in Budmann's 22 to salvage the day.

THe one thing I learned is that a crappy day in your Donzi with great Donzi people is still a great day.

Sorry you could not be there Richard and Smila, and equally sorry we could not hook up with John and Bea. Hopefully next time.
