Hydraulic trim pump

I need some help on the correct location for my hydraulic trim pump, it's a 86 18 ft. Classic and the pump was mounted to the rear of the stringer with spacers . This doesn't look like the factory installed this way. Any advice or pictures would be helpful. Thanks Jeff

Here is a picture of my 1986 18 classic and its trim pump. ( which still has a bad seal) man I need to fix that. IT is bolted to a bracket which is bolted to the stringer. http://www.donzi.net/photos/jspiroff96.jpg

Here is my trim pump on my 18. I made a platform to mount it on. Its on the starboard side.

Scott beautiful job! I have always if possible liked to mount them on the transom out of the way.
