That 5 yr. warranty came through and paid for those broken lower gear teeth,and replaced it with new Merc.Orig. Equip.(OE)and the labor..They did send an adjuster to verify and make sure negligence did not play a part..Lots of other boaters were suprised that was covered and pretty impressed by that warranty.. :D
