I ran across these photos of a wrecked yellow 18 (at least it looks like an 18). http://www.perfmar.com/99'_boating_season.htm

This is the website of a shop on lake george i think. Anyone know the story on this one? This is the kind of junk i find when im home sick from work.....

Those shots are still kicking around? I have those and a few more (somewhere) of it back when it first came out. It's was a 22' because the hull sides are taller on it in the rear compared to an 18'. A couple years back someone had the inside info here on this site about what happened.

I don't remember for sure, but I think some guy did a nose plant. Jumping waves...

If memory serves, the guy and passenger were both banged up, but lived.

Does not look like a stuff.

Stuffs usually do severe damage to the bow area and but not affecting the transom. If you also notice the side where the delaminated happened, a stuff would not leave all those scratches. Looks like he ran up on some rocks or something similar.

The jerk tried to jump the wake of a tour boat on Lake George, got air born and turned his 22 into a submarine. I think he broke his leg or arm on the way out . The boat ended up in about 60 feet of water. Between raising the boat and fines for leaking fuel and oil into the lake it cost him serveral grand. Nobody drown.

There was that freak storm up there a few summers ago. Heard something like twenty five boats (maybe more, I forgot the number) sank at their docks on Lake George. 30'+ boats were picked up and put onto the docks they were tied to. The less fortunate ones only made it as far as the pilings.
Small tornados and water spouts on Lake Bomoseen (15 mi. away) that day.
