I was wondering if anyone on the registry has read this book, and was it good reading?
Thanks Chris

Best book of Don Aronow history and photography I have seen on the market. Is there anything better?

"The King Of Thunder boat row" is great reading.

the pictures are out of this world i bought two one to read / glance over once a week while the other sits on the shelf to look nice, the one that i read all the time needs new binding ( i really look at it alot).
if anyone has any questions of where to pick one up e mail me.

Christian, Where is a good source for KoTBR? I used to see the book for sale here on the board, but I no longer see it listed in the gifts section. I think I need to get a copy for the library.

Does that mean that they are no longer in print? I was hoping to get a copy for Christmas.

Contact FastEddie on the Lake George site www.lgdonziclassic.com (http://www.lgdonziclassic.com) , he is the most constant source I know of for any of the Arronow Books...seeings that this one is based on facts and not suppositions and fantasy hypothesis', it's the best source, especially considering the Author(Michael)....Good Luck... wink ...Doc

If you can't find it on the Donzi.net, go here. King of Thunderboat Row (http://half.ebay.com/cat/buy/prod.cgi?cpid=1272130&domain_id=1856&meta_id=1)
This is half.com and they've got multiple copies at reasonable prices.

The book is still available on the publisher's web site. Write stuff's home page (http://www.writestuffbooks.com)

Based on that book, I'm surprised that in the recent poll, any of you guys chose the Stones over the Beetles since Don was apparently "pals" with the Beetles (see pic of Don and Beetles in that book)! ....
....the Beetles were better anyway! (whoa, ducking tomatoes!)

AND...it is also rumored that he liked Ringo the best.
Hey, I just remembered that I have a source to get that photo if anyone is interested. In fact, I know the guy that owns them.

Thanks for the nice book reviews everyone. The book took over me over 3 years to put together before it took its final published form. It was done solely as a labor of love project with the final objective being only to ensure that my Dad's accomplishments be remembered for all time.
If anyone would like a signed copy, I have no problem with you E-Mailing me at Aronow 2000 @aol.com.

Michael,
Thanks for the effort you put into this book! I really appreciate "your labor of love". I'm sure your dad is extremely proud of you! :)
