This is to Rich Weaver or anyone else who can help. I need a specially bent Transom Rub rail like the one shown here.

I would prefer 1 inch width, 1/16th Cresent Stainless Stock but that might not be possible from what my local fabricators tell me. Aluminum is a second choice. Does anyone know of a shop that can do this. Total piece is Approx 64 Inches long.

Thanks, Owen

Taco makes the rail out of aluminum, it is easy to bend if done slowly. Stainless cam be done but the price would be high and the boat would have be there as a template. I did it once with 1" stainless took me a whole weekenf with my two brothers amd a special jig my Granddad made. them a hole day polishing. I won't do it ever again. Mine was for the stern of a old Wolverine outboard. What is so bad is thst it was wood origionally wood and the stainless looked out of place. We took it off and steam bent wood back to origional.
