Ah yes...it looks like you stumbled upon this year's Boat Show "scam". Every year when my dad and I go to the Seattle Boat Show, we always look for the scam. You can figure it out because there's always a "prototype" that draws lots of attention (but it isn't quite done), and the company seems a bit more interested in talking about "business opportunities" than the actual vessel. A few years ago it was the personal Submarine, then the flyin' rubber raft, last year there were a couple of guys with a beautiful wooden replica of a famous race boat, and now this....I love boat show season :D !

-it is pretty cool looking though....

I had the opportunity to meet the owner of this company and he took me for a spectacular ride in one of these machines, which I think is a more bona fide flying boat.

Tony,
Thanks for the link back. But the same article quotes the power as a Mazda 13b three-rotor and then later refers to the powerplant as a "four-stroke." So I wondered if earlier or later incantations had strokes or rotors. Sounds like a fun boat. Power and prop over 100MPH during developement, and more configurations coming.
But, back to the real boats...

This one was at the Miami show last year. the boat is small and a wast of space. they make them to order. In the late 1950's Popular science had an artical on a very similar boat then they featured the Hydrofoil artical the next month, or the otherway around can't quite remember. all the mags burnt in our house fire in 1996. point is there is no new games just old ones revisited
