I found this donzi for sale only about 3 hours from me, let me know what you think, i got my other boat sold so the money is burning a hole in my pocket but don't want to make a mistake. It is a 1989 22 donzi classic with a 2000 460 king cobra with low hours on the new motor. stainless prop, thru-hull exhaust, trim tabs, power steering, holley 4bbl carb and cockpit cover. All the electronics work. the interier in the front is good but the back seat cushion needs replacing. it is solid white and seems to be in great shape. it is winterized right now but is going to be in the water in a couple of weeks and hope to get the first test run. He is asking 13900 but from the way the guy talks I think i can get it for less. That is all the specifics i know, is there other questions to ask if so what?? is this a good deal?? Let me know guys i am looking forward to getting my first donzi!!

I agree with Bill if it has intact stringers and transom and title it seems like a good deal. Rick

Is this the 22 in Conover, NC (about 20 minutes away for me) and also on Boattrader? I too am considering looking at this one as well, just haven't gotten around to it.

Wonder how a solid white no stripe look next to a solid red no stripe. Hooray Beer!

Sounds like a pretty good deal if it's all there. Make sure that all white isnt a recent paint job that may have been done to cover up some ugliness. Let us know how it turns out.

Take a half dollar with you and tap the heavy center section of the transom down as low as you can reach and along the stringers, should have a sharp sound no dull thuddy spots. Sounds like give him a refundable deposit pending inspection, get first Dibs or it will leave with someone else!

Thunderrolls,
I had to be negative,But,Be caution of the King Cobra
electrontic shift, I was worned by a very respectful outdrive specialist one time when I
was concidering the same year 18'classic. Parts
could be a problem. Good Luck
