I spoke with Frank today at the Boardwalk . .it was -21 degrees at noon , and -31 for a low last night with a nasty cold wind from the north. :( He had 8 reservations at the time for this weekend, and has up to 40 rooms available!
In our discussion he indicated that they are just s short distance from the open area of Lake Ontario, so if it is windy there's a great opportunity to play in some serious rollers by heading west a bit or you can hide from the waves amongst the islands!
The rates are low at $89.00 / night , so who cares what the gas price will be!
