Its that time of the year again!

When us Dads with our sons get the power tools out and craft another pinewood derby car with hopes of winning the big one,we went with the sleek and slim style this year and took first place :D .We had 32 cars compete and had a great time.

Great times. I've been in Scouting for over 40 years. I currently am a scoutmaster. Did the Pinewoods when I was a kid and went through it with my son when he was at that age also. I think it's really a competition for the adults but we pretend it's for the kids.

I miss building pinewood derby cars. Those were tons of fun, first year I remember drawing how i wanted it to look, then having dad cut it, then painting it. Had the fastest car there that year :)
