16 and a Tape Measure

Hi I need someone to give me a measurement from the transon of a 16 with a V8 to the center of the axle. Got new higher capacity trailer want to be reasonably close on tongue wieght. It had an 18 foot outboard and the axle is way forward.

eagle custom trailer... end of frame to center of axle is approx 48 inches. from end of bunks / transom 51 inches approx. 97 16 w/350... donno how long my trailer is.. 20 feet or so... and i have 330 lbs of tongue weight on a setup that is 3200 lbs gross

Hi and thanks a bunch, now I atleast have a starting point. Spent the evening getting bunks reasonably close will have to do a final when I take it to the shop and load it on. My concern was being to tongue light and having my hands full. Thanks again!
