I'm trying to determine if I can use the 454/502 EFI based K&N flame arrestor on my 350 MAG MPI (see pics below). This might sound a bit strange, but I think there is a good chance it might work. Can someone who has the 454/502 EFI package tell me what the hole spacing is on the throttle body (see pics below)? I know it sounds crazy but look.

Here's the kit I want to buy... I think. The hole locations look correct, but are they really? What do you guys think?

Here's a shot of the upper intake (see how it looks like the 454/502)

OK, I just found out the 454/502 MPI's have the exact same throttle body, gasket, flame arrestor and bracket as my 350 MAG MPI. It looks like the aftermarket arrestors will work no problem. Stay tuned for a "real world" application shortly. :)

If anyone is curious, here are the PN's

860204A 5 - THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY
807656A 2 - FLAME ARRESTOR
27-805396 - 27-805396

RANMAN, my 2003 K&N Catalog shows the following...

serpentine belt, 454-502 MPI
kit part # 59-4542, includes 85-8837 adapter and 59-5006 spark arrestor

3 pulley belt, 454-502 MPI
kit part # 59-4541, includes 85-8837 adapter and 59-5005 spark arrestor

the total height, and element heights, of both kits, are exactly the same, so I have no clue why the different kit #'s??
