I have been shopping awhile, many out there.
My first choice was about $70 bucks.

But after hearing from a few folks that have this one (below pic) from a place in MI, I went with it, heavy duty plastic and SS shaft, top seal to aide in holding it firm.. $15 Bucks.
I plan to pull up a strip of diamand plate and through bolt is SS with lock washers.

What does everyone else use if you carry a spare prop?

I built one with an iron plumbing flange that holds a long carriage bolt. Slide the carriage bolt into the flange, screw the flange to the floor, drop the prop over the bolt, drop a plastic, floating Merc prop wrench down next, spin a couple of SS nuts down next.
Done.
The nuts are the same size as the ones I use to attach my wakeboard pole, so the wrench is always handy.

I went to a marina and got a bent prop shaft that they were going to throw out. I cut it to a shorter length and then welded it to a .250 inch piece of SS flat stock and mounted in the engine compartment. The prop, thrust washer and other hardware are all mounted on it.
