I need some help and can fine any information on how much the transom plate bolts should be torque too, I have a 01 alpha gen 2 . I aslo found a crack in the bottom of the transom plate between the two lower bolts should this plate be used. Thanks Jeff

Here is the info that I got from a marine mech for you...I don't swear by its' accuracy but here it is anyway...

"The torque is ONLY 23 foot pounds.
Use the sequence in the image that I have attached.

Also, when you install the engine, make sure you only torque the rear mounts bolts to 35 lbs and check the engine alignment
with the engine alignment tool.

Remember the 10 second rule...Tighten to above values and then recheck after 10 seconds for the above values. (allow for "quench in hull construction)
