I am Buying a 22 Classic from There this Monday and was just wandering if anyone was real close to this place.

If so I would owe someone big to just take a look at it and give me there opinion before I fly out Monday. Scot said there might be someone that could help. Thanks in advance.

Donzigo and Budmann live in St.pete. If it is the 22 right by John's Pass then thats the one holding down the Background on my desktop. I can't believe you bet me to it. I just called NIO two days ago and they said they sold it. I'm sure that someone would be happy to look at it for you.

It looks real good in the pictures and the guy said it is in perfect condition. Its a 1997 so I figured it was ok but would love to know for sure. I have put the money down so If its not I lose it but I had to take the chance. I will be picking it up Monday if all goes well.

I went past there yesterday by boat. :) I looked at a 26zx they had there last year. They seem like decent people to deal with. What color is it, so I can be sure I'm looking at the right one? I have to do a little running right now, but I may be able to get by there this evening. I don't mind being near Gator's this evening for a sunset drink. wink I'll let you know. Anthing in particular you need checked?

Here is the boat. 22' Donzi Classic (http://tiemworks.com/donzi/) I don’t know allot about Donzi and what to look for. I guess just look to see if it’s clean and if it was taken care of. Also look and see if you think the trailer would make it back about 900 miles to Texas. I guess your opinion would be great. Thanks again for any help.

I just got back from looking at it. It looks in good shape, not abused. The trailer looks brand new, I wouldn't worry about towing it that far, just regrease the bearings. The seat cushions and carpet weren't in the boat, but I think they have them stored somewhere. I didn't start it up or anything, so I can't vouch for the engine, but it looks good and it is a 454 mag. I took some pictures that I will post for you.

The people that have the boat, Robert and Sharlet, are as nice as you could want to meet. Deb and I talked with them for 45 minutes or better about boats. I may end up taking my 242 to them to put on thier lot.

I will be there late Monday and pick it up Tuesday. We are going to take it around in St Pete's Tuesday if all goes well. If you have the time it would be great to meet. If you want to go out on it let me know. I did see that Fountain you have now so I imagine you will be out on her. That boat is bad. :D Congrats.
