This may seem silly, but can anyone tell me how long their 22 Classic or 22ZX is from prop to coupler (on the trailer). I'm looking at upgrading from an 18' to a 22 (Classic or ZX) but need to find out if they will fit in the garage. Thanks for any information.

You could always get one of the trailers with the removable/sliding tongue. Then you only have to deal with the overall boat length. Just my $0.02

Mark, I would most likely be buying a used 22' with a trailer. Also, I store my boat in the garage after every use and it would be a pain in the butt to remove the coupler each time.

My garage is 24'-6" deep. I was hoping that a 22' on the trailer would fall close enough so that I could build a "dog-house" off the back wall for the drive to fit into. Then maybe I could squeak her in. That doesn't look like a option though seeing as I need 4'-3" which is a bit longer than the drive.

Randy,

Classic 22 on Eagle Trailer: 26'6" hitch ball to prop prop hub. This Eagle must have been a custom built trailer. Mfg. sticker even stays Donzi 22 Classic. So there is no overhang at the transom and very little tongue extension out front.

Ranman-Just build a bigger doghouse so that the hull will go in too.I went thru the same gig-and that's what I had to do.Same amount of work-just more material.

Blewbyu, Unfortunatly, I have a limited amount of depth behind the garage also so it would be tricky. Another question. How wide are the tailers for the 22's??. Forgot that I have to get through a gate too!!
