Thanks for posting that Scot!! Interesting that this is now the 3rd hatch configuration I have seen on the Z33. The early one I saw last week had a single center hatch, The late 80's (Merc), have the side hatches that just look like part of the Deck, and now this one (90?) has the two glass hatches. No matter what....very cool!!

Wow ! Thats great stuff ,just christened my 33 Crossbow on Friday with a 35 mile cruise in the ocean from Shinnecock Inlet to Montauk Harbor where she'll spend the next couple of years tearing up Block Island Sound, boat ran great and what a difference from my z-25 the twin 454's make you feel like you have all the power you need , and the extra couple of thousand pounds sure helped punch through those nasty boat wakes i used to dread with my 25 footer Keep up the good work ,love this site Rich.

Scot - For the Crossbow lovers, there is also a good deal of information and photos in the 2 portfolios I sent you. If I remember correctly, the photos are of the model with the "gull wing" hatches.

Hi Guys

If i`v got it right,the Crossbow 1987
and 1988 has the non glas hach with a
litle angle. The 1989 has glas but still
a combination with a angle of glasf.
In the 1990 the crossbow name is gone,
and 2 new haches with alu frames and glas.

502, my 88 has the gull wing hatches all fiberglass, saw an 89 had gullwings and plexiglass centers on the hatches ,the guy at the shop said they were factory but I kind of doubt it ,seems someone may have retrofitted it to let in more light.I can tell you its pretty dark down below without having a hatch open .!!Good Luck on your project!
