I happened on this website from an e-mail I received. I had met the son of the man who builds and designs these boats although names and memory don't seem to work well with me. As I looked down the different types of designs offered, there is a button for Patrol Boats. When I visited this company, they were located on 188th street. Not sure if they still are, but I sure hope that Don Aronow's story does not become this boat builders story.

MadPoodle,
Thanks for the info. It's been probably 7 or 8 years since I saw the factory on 188th. They had a Pink Panther edition 24' that I thought was pretty cool at the time. My only question is: "How do you get any work done with companies like Cary next door?" http://www.donzi.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

Looped,
The Cary Marine site seems to be out of service, but High Performance Luxury Yacht sums up what a Cary is. Try this article.

As the story goes, Don Aronow's first boat with the name "Cigarette" on it was a 32 foot Cary. He won alot of races with it too.
