Noticed today oil pressure at 4800-5000rpm was at around 15-20..Is this normal? My motor is a 2000 350 mag.so their were no audible alarms indicating low pressure, and when i slowed it came back to 35-40..I cant recall where its been in the past and i plan to ck oil level Sunday when cool. The oil level was at full when we started.ANY IDEAS?Boat ran fast and flawless

if that oil pressure is correct... there's an issue that needs to be addressed... especially at those rpm's... that might suffice at idle... but not WOT...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad new's
Your oil pump has a spring loaded bypass
valve that is bad, you will have to replace the oil pump. do not run it at all with out a mechanical guage on it to check it.
When the engine is at high rpm's
the valve is opening (malfunctioning)
thus the low oil pressure at high rpm's

Donzitester is probably right, but did you check the level of oil lately?? If it is low you maybe sucking the pan dry at higher RPM.

Don't run it without proper oil pressure. Also, check it with mechanical gauge electric gauges are wrong MANY times.
