Watch out DonziTester. My sources tell me that #2 already has a blower, drive mod's and other secret upgrades. I don't know if I will go on with out a PFD. This is the same guy who owns a 32 Skater with twin 1300's. He got 160 something out of it at Lake X.
Ted the IMCO is one sharp unit, looking forward to seeing the beast this winter.

Hello Brian,
PFD for sure. The 22 is really flying now,
that IMCO works even better than it looks!
I got an aditional 350-400 rpm with the same
prop. No details on the speed till after
Eufalla! :p

What? No new pics of the tach and speedo? C'mon, you can't do that to us!

Ok, let's see who's good with a calculater
add 350-400 more rpm's to the photo of the dash and you tell me what you come up with. I will give a nice Donzi licence plate to the first correct responce...but you will have to be at Eufalla
to collect! :p

Should be 86-88 mph if prop slip stayed the same.

Assuming you are still spinning the 29.

BlackHawk, yes the slip stayed the same.
Almost wonder if I could go up to a 30" Lab.
And yes you are correct! I will put the prize
in the boat for you, a nice stamped metal
Donzi black and red license plate!
good job! Do you think I should try a 30" Lab?

Donzitester, if you are spinning the 29 at 5300-5400, I would try the 30. You might give a little holeshot up, but I think you can spin it. Unfortunately, my boat is down right now so I can't make it to Eufalla. Unless you need a co-pilot? ;) I am going to work on the boat this winter and have it better than new! (and faster) Maybe I can give you some competition next spring! :D

BlackHawk,
problem is you cant get a 30" in a 3 blade
at least from Mercury, and if its not mercury
I wont run it....yea I know I'm a snob.
The 4 blade bravo's wont work on these hulls.
:( . hey I'll e-mail you to get your
address to mail you the plate :D

Blackhawk,
NOBODY should EVER miss an event they would otherwise go to just because their boat isn't ready or the tow too far. Lots of Donzi folks like me arrive solo and would enjoy having other Donzi members ride (drive?) with me. There is always plenty of room in the boats. Come to Eufaula...no excuses.
Mark :)

Thanks guys! It's quite the drive for me too! Plane ride would be better. :D If the timing was better I would be there!

Donzitester, can you have your your 29 "worked" into a 30? Or does mercury make a 31? Or, maybe you should just put the 1.36 gears in now cause you know that you are going to want to keep going faster and faster and faster and...! :D

blackhawk,
1:36...well since your buying the boat for
$49.95 I'll let you do that when you pick it up!! :D Actually I just got off the phone
with my good friend Donzidogg, he is the
best prop guy in the state and has driven
more Donzi's than anyone else on the planet
(fact). He is going to re-pitch my 29
to a 30 after Eufalla. When I did both test
runs, last week and yesterday, I was totally
full of fuel. Pleasantly suprised that
1.75 hours on the meter only burned 16 gals
of amoco 93 ! Granted 1 hour was break in
but make no mistake, Nate and I were flyin
low many times too. Well anyway when I get down a half a tank I will be on the rev. limiter, so I need to re-pitch to a 30".
Gee's I thought you would have been a little
more eager to pick up the boat. I need that
$49.95!
:D
