I have seen some of your trailers with PVC guides on either side of the keel rollers (toward the front of the trailer), totally preventing the possibilty of scraping the keel on the metal on either side on the roller. I usually load the boat by myself and often in high wind. I do have tall guides at the back of the boat but they don't assist in centering the front part of the keel over the rollers.
The ones I have seen appear to be mounted to the center beam and are around 16" to 24" long each.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I made a 3 roller bow support with 4x4 covered for a V outward from them. the reasion is the skidd wore the gell coat off. the reasion for 3 rollers is better support. Rollers almost touch eatch other. makes loading easier too.

Hey Stix, take a look at the older Ski Nautique trailers from Correct Craft. They made the trailer style nose that Grizz is describing. They work great and we have adaplted that style of "bow cushion" for the wooden boats. It guides the front of the boat into the trailer nose for perfect alignment. Good Luck!

The the bow of the Natiques touches the guide bar. That caused wear on the rubber bar cushions on my Correct Craft.
