Hey everyone,
this past weekend some of the SeaDogs got together at Richard and Smila's House ("Donzigo") to welcome CDMA, Dino and Judy to Florida.

We were hoping for overcast, snowy weather, however, Mother-nature dealt us a typical Florida winter day of sunshine. Wadda ya gonna do???

Thanks Richard and Smila for being such fantastics hosts.

Note: since many people are on dial-up and there are so many pics, I only posted one picture; the rest are links that you can access at your leisure.

Fla Gator and Speed Racer, wish you guys could have been there, it was a lot of fun. Hope to see you at the next one. Mount Dora is coming up in Feb, possibly Gasparilla in Tampa on Feb 01, the Swannee river run in April is also a must.

Fishboy, Thanks for posting the pics. I had a good time at the wharf and the pier. Hope to see you guys at Gasparilla. I will have a boatload of beads. This is the one event that I don't have to go far for.

I wish I could have went with everyone back to Richard and Smila's after the Pier. Just didn't want to have to make the 30 mile trip back over to Davis island after dark.

Richard, thanks for hosting the informal gathering.

Debbie and I made two aborted trips to the boat ramp. This first one, we got the boat launched and found both batteries were dead. :( It turns out the day before when somebody was detailing the boat left the key on.

We took the boat back home and took a battery out of our other boat and put it in, then back to the launch. Found one drive wouldn't go down. Back to the house, found a bad connection on the drive pump and fixed it. By then it was 2 pm. We took the car down to the Wharf, but, alas, we were too late. :(

Looks like everyone had fun. Great pictures!! Hope to catch everyone next trip.

Cuda,
sorry to hear about the bad luck with your boat. Hope you can make the next one. Looks like Mount Dora is the next official SeaDog get together, but there seems to be rumblings about a Gasparilla invasion in Feb. a little closer to your neck of the woods. There is also the Suwannee river run in April coming up. Look forward to meeting you.
