Has any one out there driven a 45 Daytona? also I understand that the six drives are better suited for a boat this heavy 14,000 lbs. any feed back would be welcomed. I also understand that even though this boat is offered with triple 900's one has not been built??? mailto:hmotley@core.comhmotley@core.com</A>

Hugh,

Welcome to the board. Good luck with your search. I have never driven a 45 daytona but drove our 45ZX we sold, many times. The boat is awesome and handles really well for a boat of this size and weight. You might want to check with Ted(HP500-22) he probably has driven a 45 Daytona. You are correct in the fact that Donzi has yet to build a 45 with triple 900's in it; sure would be nice to be the only person in the entire country to own a 45 with triple 900's! The drive issue is probably deservent of another thread on its own. If you read Offshore Only(offshoreonly.com) then you have probably read about the heavier boats running bravo drives and having problems. Is this due to the weight; that is where the arguement starts. I will keep my opnions locked up for now, do not want to start anything. Please feel free to e-mail me and ask any questions you might have. Good luck.

Barry :)
