How about some pics of everyones garages!

My Dog House
I'm sure it's not the biggest around but; 1100sq', boat bay is 12'x32' and has a 12'ceiling with a I beam rated@3000#s, plus air (2 stage compressor), air conditioning, TV, stereo, sink (with hot and cold) and a well stocked fridge :D

Madpoodle
Forrest and Jennie came down and watched the Tennessee/Florida game with us. What a fun time. Forrest said he was the "Biggest Vol Fan" for that game.
If we get over this one last BIG hurdle we're Rose Bowl bound, see ya there!.
Go VOLS!!!!

RickR, AWESOME, you sure do have it going on!!!!
Us VA boys do things a bit in reverse, buy boat and THEN start construction!
Just laid a 16 X 72 5 inch run this past Monday, we call it the Donzi Concrete Palace!

Roof and walls soon.... and a hose and bucket, ok TV and fridge, etc....

Cool garage to house all of the toys, Rick.

We custom designed our new lake house with a garage to show off the Donzi, room for a kegger full of Shiner Bock Beer, Oklahoma Joe Smoker, electronic and traditional dart boards, and of course Jill just had to have the Caribou mount with the six foot rack to hang out there too. Ground zero for some serious post-lake activity.

We'll try to get a picture when we get everything moved in... Todd

. . . and I'm still a VOLs fan!!!

Rick, I want your garage!

I finally started construction on the 12' x 30' dock and ABL boat lift (http://www.ablboatlifts.com/index.html) for the Magnum 27 this weekend. The pilings are set.

Bryan, since I'm a North Florida transplant via Key West from Virginia Beach, I guess that explains why I did my garage the way I did!

First you guys do the Donzi Girls stuff, then show off on Florida climate, then the Cool Previously Owned stuff, and now you show off your perfect garages!?

You know, too a single guy, living in Oregon without a garage, this is taking on the flavor of cruelty.

:D

those are some great setups! my "garage" consists of a gravel base and plenty of air circulation... :D she sits on the trailer with a full cover out in front of the house on my dead end gravel road. I live out in the sticks. The trailer's got more locks on it than Alcatraz and every now and then, I walk outside and blast a couple rounds out of the shotgun for the benfit of anyone within earshot...(then I go back inside and wish I had a garage big enough) oh well, maybe someday when I actually own my own place and dont move around so much.

Let me guess. A grandfathered 9 round SPAS 12 like mine, right? ;)
Of coarse the way this board works, you'll probably say its a USAS with a drum.

Nope...not me...thats an old machine...we have nice new ones!

Building a 40x50 block building with a 40x50 game room above it...if the DEP ever gets their butts out here to give me the OK to start.

I will take pictures of my garage now and post them. Also have a huge walk out basement where all the Harleys are parked and a nice work shop. Its about 3000 sqft now. Chris's boat is still outside....I think a tree fell on it last night.

Thats nasty Pearson. He'll be high tailing out there with a tissue to his eyes.

Mine is only 40x40 but still very rough on the inside. I made one mistake in not having a high ceiling for the engine lift.

Sold the ZX-10 years ago. Never got on her without running a ton, fastest ever was 170.
Rode all my life but a car wreck and loosing my best friend and brother-in law got me OVER bikes. Too Much traffic and Too Many BAD drivers.
Now I go fast on the water. :D

Buckminster Fuller will be disappointed you didn't do a geodesic dome garage to match the geodesic dome home (dhome?). You hippy Pacific Norwester types still livin' the dream, eh?

PS Just ignore me...I'm jealous just like the others.

Mark, that could be why he's looking skyward? A Donzi on every floor?

"Hey, Henry, it's gonna rain, grab the tarp for me, would ya?"

Bunches,

Celene 'roof? we don't need no stenkin roof'

Hey, "Toona",
Ol' Buckminster said it was an ideal STRUCTURE. He never said it wouldn't leak. I saw him speak in 1968. It passed waaaay over my head, and I was an Architecture major at the time at Kent State.

Rectalinear people vehicle holding structures appropreate use of form, crystal structures, lattice molecular 90 degree orientation, cubic, found in nature also as is two frequency Carbon 60 geodesics, I seem to be a verb, but upon reflection.......I am a trim tab.

No one could babble like Buckey. :D

Mark, Bucky would like to see Owen with a Dymaxion car (http://www.thirteen.org/bucky/car.html) to go with the geodesic structure! The geodesic dome covers the most volume with the least amount of material. He and my dad were hooked up on some projects back in the mid-1950s.

But how is it as a tow vehicle?

Bunches,

Celene "rear steering, counter intuitive... heck, would someone back this trailer for me?"

Chris: " It is for the Donzi's mom"

Mom: "Oh ok I don't like those flowers anyway..."

Forrest
How's the weather?

Forrest
05-02-2002, 09:11 AM
Scott, thanks man! The party will start as soon as the boat lift goes in. Applications are in at DEP and the Army Corps. DEP no problem but it may be tight with the Corp. Fingers crossed.

RickR, today partly cloudy, low 67, high 92. Smooth in the am and windy in the afternoon. One big thunderstorm last week, but for the most part, no rain but I expect some soon. Fish are being caught!
