I just got back from a boat show. A dealer had a 2003 28 ZXO on sale for $106K. It had twin 5.0's in it. I have had my eye on this boat for a long time. Are the twin 5's enough motor?

Could I get the expert opinion of this board about this boat and the price? I will be boating primarily in midwest lakes. I really cannot afford it at this time, however.....maybe next year.

Thanks in advance.

I have shopped them, when we had the itch for one.
The '03 graphics are a great improvement over past years to break Donzi away in the graphics arena.

My input is, that sounds about right for the '03 pricing MSRP, but I would bet you could get it for 10K cheaper on a trailer if you hard line him with a SERIOUS offer.
T350 Mags is good in that boat, most common set up, low to mid 70's, not a dog at all.
I would be leary of the smaller 250hp engines some dealers order to keep cost down.
Pictures?

Sorry, no pictures. It was red and silver over white. Beautiful!

It had twin 260 HP 5.0's. (HP 500 is right, 305 CI). The salesman said it do around 65 mph.

Back when I was in high school,,quite awhile ago now....., us gearheads would not touch something with a 305 in it. This is not the same engine is it?

With twin 5.0s you are not going to be as fast, The 350s are a better package especilly for resale.
