Aluminum Intake

I have heard that I may have trouble with my aluminum intake that is on the new engine I am installing. It will be run mostly in salt water. Any suggestions or comments?

I ran aluminum intakes on my two Donzi's. They were trailered and I would flush them after every run, salt or fresh. Never had a problem. But, I could see a problem if they weren't taken care of or left in the water [salt].
