you can't build an engine like that for the *buy it now* price, much less inherit a v-drive. It IS the correct a$$backwards turbo setup, looks like it has twin intercoolers too, seems drop-in to me.

Scott, the turbo's look like old style Rajay 300 or 375 series. So, the basic kit itself may be 20-25 years old. Very period correct actually. Almost looks like a Predator throttle body, which isn't a bad thing, but most everyone now uses the Kinsler style 2 or 4 blade.
I don't see an IAC motor or O2 sensors, so it may be just a basic open-loop ECU. I'd wanna hear it hummmmm before cashing out...
