Who's been to Lake Corpus Christi?

Thinking about running down for the day. is it a nice lake? any pointers?

We lived in Corpus for three years when we first
came to Texas!

Lake Corpus Christi is the primary water source for Corpus. Because of this, the water level flucuates dramtically. It is full of stumps and gators. Take your gun if you plan to tube!

Why don't you plan on a trip up here soon? Next big weekend is 5/3. We'd love to have some visitors from the south and you don't even have to pack the 45 to enjoy PK!

we're just trying to find some places close to boat on weekends. is there any sandy areas in lake CC? we're planning a vacation for early summer and may make texoma part of the trip.
